On July 12th, Group Commons celebrated its first birthday. In the first year of life, we count many accomplishments:

• developed a solid foundation for collaboration -- including about 65 key features.
• signed up 600+ organizations -- a good start toward our 5 year goal of 5 million companies and 50 million individuals.
• successfully used the ticket system for 7 major software development projects
• processed approximately 3700 tickets containing your suggestions, bug reports, requests.
• assisted the CIK to "go worldwide"
• established a positive cash flow
• applied GC to numerous real-life problems -- software development; conference registration; neighborhood group purchasing; pharmaceutical documentation of research protocols; membership umbrella service organizations; business development; requirements compliance; state-wide grants management; and many more.

Not bad, we believe, for the Birthday #1!
